Colonia Il Profumo is the eau de parfum with which Acqua di Parma intensifies Colonia, born in 1916, under a golden Italian sun. Italian bergamot, grapefruit, blood orange and petitgrain open onto rosemary, ylang-ylang and orange leaves, before a base of vetiver and patchouli, in an Art Deco bottle with a golden base.

Acqua di Parma presents Colonia Il Profumo as a modern and intensified interpretation of Colonia, the house’s first fragrance, launched in 1916. The press echoed it in January and February 2025, from Miami Living to Signé Magazine and The Luxury Editor.

A richer concentration

Signé Magazine and Daily News describe a richer fragrance, with a higher concentration than Colonia’s, and Daily News classes it among eaux de parfum. The house says it draws on the golden radiance of the Italian sun, according to Dillard’s.

The objects of the collection

The launch comes with objects made in Italy, according to The Luxury Editor and Signé Magazine: the Portami trunk, in leather lined with yellow lambskin, for three 180 ml bottles, the Posami tray in cherry wood, leather-wrapped candle holders and refillable glass soap and lotion bottles. The house also worked with designer Cristina Celestino and the manufacturer Fornace Brioni on a yellow-glazed terracotta piece.
