Mandarino di Sicilia

An eau de toilette from the Blu Mediterraneo line, Mandarino di Sicilia was released in 2024 by Acqua di Parma and draws on Sicily’s sun-drenched landscapes. Green mandarin, picked early, blends with bergamot, lemon and blood orange, over a heart of petitgrain and spearmint and a base of patchouli, cedar and musk.

Now Smell This reported Mandarino di Sicilia in April 2024, the newcomer to the Blu Mediterraneo line, as an eau de toilette. The house says it was inspired by Sicily’s sun-drenched landscapes, where architecture and culture blend with nature, and sees in it the Italian art of living as a state of mind.

Mandarins from the early harvest

According to the presentation picked up by Now Smell This, the mandarins are harvested early to capture their vibrant green tones. The Luxury Editor evokes the sandy fields of Castelvetrano, nicknamed the Giardini.

Mandarino Millesimato

The house accompanies it with a limited edition, Mandarino Millesimato, numbered and limited to 2022 pieces according to Now Smell This and The Luxury Editor. The Luxury Editor says it is made with Tardivo di Ciaculli mandarins hand-picked in early October 2022, after a dry, sunny summer, and presented in a porcelain bottle.
