Cologne Noire

Cologne Noire, a tribute to the origins of perfumery. It was the marriage of Estelle Arpels and Alfred Van Cleef that gave birth to the house of Van Cleef Arpels, in 1906. These two passionate collectors of precious stones imagined jewels each more dazzling than the last.

Pepper, spicy and dry, bergamot, fruity and sweet, and mandarin, sparkling and sun-kissed, occupy the top: spice, fruit and sparkle unfold there.

Ginger and cardamom share a spicy facet that links them; neroli, floral and tart, joins them in the heart on a floral side.
