Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa

The house of Guerlain is one of the oldest French perfumery brands. Created in 1828 by Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain, it is synonymous with prestige and creativity. Where does it draw all these ideas from to craft so many fragrances? In reality, since its birth, nature has been its finest source of inspiration. It is to pay tribute to it that the Aqua Allegoria collection was conceived. In 2022, it is brought back into the spotlight. A new juice joins its ranks: welcome to the rose garden of Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa by Guerlain!

Guerlain is one of the greatest brands in France. A showcase for all of French perfumery expertise, it has continued to perfect its creations since its birth, in 1828. Over the generations, Guerlain has continued to develop fragrances that bring a smile and call upon the noblest raw materials. This is exactly what can be found, once again, in Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa by Guerlain. This juice completes a great collection. Here is our review of it.

Olfastory’s review

Guerlain intensifies the power of the Aqua Allegoria collection

The Aqua Allegoria collection is an olfactory assemblage already well known to the general public. Indeed, for several years now Guerlain has been adding new fragrances to it, all crafted from natural ingredients. Its ambition? To take us traveling through the most beautiful gardens in the world. However, in 2022, Guerlain has a novelty in store. Its olfactory assemblage transforms. It gains in intensity and becomes warmer. It is thus now called Aqua Allegoria Forte. From then on, it is a little as if the fruits, flowers and plants were lit by a new solar glow.

Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa, a more responsible fragrance

Another radical change in 2022: Guerlain reaffirms its commitments to protecting the planet, and this is felt right through to its fragrance. Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa by Guerlain contains more than 90% ingredients of natural origin. Its beet alcohol comes from France, from production committed to responsible agriculture. The glass of its bottle, meanwhile, is made of 15% recycled materials. It is manufactured and assembled in France. Moreover, it is refillable. Finally, for perfect consistency, the advertising for Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa by Guerlain was entirely brought to life by the committed artist Yann Arthus-Bertrand, author of Earth from Above.

A rose that reveals itself little by little

As the name of this fragrance suggests, Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa by Guerlain speaks to us of rose. However, it only reveals itself over the hours. In this way, Guerlain manages to preserve a share of mystery around it. At first, it is only a shy rosewater, enhanced with blackcurrant. Then, in its heart, rose essence and absolute intertwine while wrapping themselves in pear and peach. It is only in its base notes that Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa by Guerlain fully lets its sensuality speak, in contact with sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli and benzoin.

The Bee Bottle, a dive into Guerlain's heritage

Finally, although it is a modern fragrance, Aqua Allegoria Forte Rossa Rossa offers us a dive into Guerlain's history. It invites us to rediscover one of the house's greatest bottles: the legendary Bee Bottle. For the record, it was designed in 1853 for Empress Eugénie. The magic still works, and we cannot help but fall under the spell of its golden dome contrasting with its very feminine pink juice.
