This new fragrance plunges the wearer into a thrill of emotions, in a world described as both tender and powerful.
Angel Fruity Fair, a creation inspired by Thierry Mugler’s memories
In creating this new Angel, Thierry Mugler drew on his childhood. It can therefore be said that this is a personal and intimate fragrance. Indeed, the designer stated that he drew on his childhood memories to imagine this new variation. Among them, Thierry Mugler evokes the fairground and the sweet scent of the many treats such as cotton candy or candy apple. He thus states that Angel Fruity Fair is a fragrance born from a childlike and fairy-tale world. The composition of Angel Fruity Fair was imagined, in an unprecedented way, around a trio of flavors.
The gourmand olfactory trio of Angel Fruity Fair
Angel Fruity Fair opens on a fruity/sweet association of lychee and redcurrant. Of Chinese origin, lychee has been cultivated for over 4000 years. Also called the cherry of China, lychee was considered the most refined fruit of the Celestial Empire, as it was offered to emperors. Lychee appeared in France in 1721 and its pronunciation is a distortion of its Chinese name. In 1924, France introduced lychee to the island of La Réunion as well as to Madagascar, where it became the subject of significant cultivation. In perfumery, the lychee note is highly prized and is reproduced synthetically in the laboratory. It offers exotic, fruity, green and rosy tonalities. Then, the heart of Angel Fruity Fair is essentially feminine, composed of rose and a pomarose molecule. The pomarose note is a molecule patented and registered by the house Givaudan. It is a doubly unsaturated ketone that does not occur in nature. Pomarose gives off a powerful fruity rose scent with nuances of apple, plum and raisin. Finally, the base of Angel Fruity Fair is a blend of vanilla, patchouli and whipped cream, offering a third, ultra gourmand facet. Whipped cream is a sweetened whipped cream sometimes flavored. The origin of whipped cream dates back to the 16th century in Italy. Nevertheless, some attribute the invention of whipped cream to François Vatel, steward at the Château de Chantilly, in the 17th century…In perfumery, the use of whipped cream is fairly recent and still rare. The whipped cream note is, of course, reproduced in the laboratory. It offers sweet, gourmand and delightfully addictive tonalities.
