Angel Fruity Fair, a 2018 limited edition in eau de toilette, takes Angel to a funfair: lychee and blackcurrant, rose thorn and pomarose, over a vanilla whipped cream that softens the patchouli. The house presents it as a fruitier reading of Angel, in a turquoise blue star.
Three swirls
Mugler builds the fragrance in three swirls. The delicious swirl brings together blackcurrant and lychee in a half-juicy, half-tart accord; the sparkling swirl is an accord of rose thorns, which the pomarose molecule rounds out with apple accents.
The voluptuous swirl lays down a comforting accord of whipped cream and vanilla that softens the patchouli, Angel’s signature. Blackcurrant and lychee stand in the top, rose and pomarose in the heart, vanilla and patchouli in the base.
Redcurrant or blackcurrant
Several launch descriptions replace the blackcurrant with redcurrant or add hawthorn; the house, for its part, names blackcurrant and lychee, rose thorn and pomarose, whipped cream, vanilla and patchouli.
