A*Men Stellar

A*Men Stellar is an eau de parfum for men by Mugler, launched in 2025 and signed by Louise Turner and Jacques Huclier. The house calls it ambery, gourmand and aromatic: Calabrian bergamot and Provence lavandin at the top, a creamy, salty pistachio accord in the heart, and a woody accord lifted by amber, coffee, rum and cognac in the base.

Varanis Ridari, of the blog The Scented Devil, stays neutral: he smells a cross between A*Men Fantasm and A*Men Pure Tonka, consistent with the line and far from cheap, but regrets a coconut grafted onto the pistachio and woods that sour the whole.

Between Fantasm and Pure Tonka

On October 7, 2025, Varanis Ridari, of the blog The Scented Devil, saw A*Men Stellar as an amalgam of A*Men Fantasm, released in 2024, and A*Men Pure Tonka, from 2016, since discontinued and much sought after. For those who accept its changes, Stellar could replace it, in his view.

Pistachio, coconut and woods

He perceives in the opening a coconut grafted onto the pistachio, which he likens to recent Jean Paul Gaultier releases, and finds more of the 1996 A*Men than in Fantasm, along with the gourmand tonka of Pure Tonka.

Styrax and violet-tinged sandalwood materials remind him of Le Labo’s Santal 33 and, in his eyes, sour the rest of the fragrance. He finds it consistent with the line and far from cheap, but lackluster for him.
