Created by perfumer Alberto Morillas, Acqua Di Gio Profondo Lights plunges us into the mysteries of the ocean depths while preserving a share of light. And it is precisely this luminous halo that we find in its top notes. Of course, a marine accord is omnipresent. It serves as the connecting thread of this entire composition. At first, it is combined with a citrus note, and more precisely green mandarin. Very sun-kissed, this raw material has more character than bergamot, while being slightly bitter. Sweet and sparkling, a little sugary and very cheerful, it is here accompanied by cardamom. This other ingredient is a fresh spice, slightly camphorous and aromatic.
The aromatic and Mediterranean heart of Acqua Di Gio Profondo Lights
At its heart, the Mediterranean spirit of the house Giorgio Armani emerges once more. The emblematic ingredients of this region of the globe multiply, giving this perfume a sun-kissed connotation and a very aromatic breath. Lavandin powerfully evokes the gardens of the south of France. Slightly floral, it is combined with rosemary, fresher and more herbaceous. Its light woody side is accentuated by the presence of cypress and mastic. The result is a heart that is sometimes resinous, sometimes more invigorating, while balsamic notes still blend with the rest of its ingredients.

To complete this composition, Giorgio Armani relies on a more woody accord. Vetiver offers it a slightly smoky freshness, while considerably improving the longevity of this perfume. Nervy and reassuring, it structures this recipe, while being combined with patchouli, which is more earthy. The whole thus draws us toward the depths, while reminding us of the original woody signature of the first Acqua Di Gio.
