Presentation of the fragrance Immersion in deep blue Released in spring 2025, this Eau de Toilette revisits Armani's marine signature: airier than the Parfum edition, it captures the moment when light filters beneath the surface. Composed by Alberto Morillas, the composition unites freshness, minerality and Italian elegance.
Visual design, blue identity Blue Abyss gradient True to the emblematic silhouette of Acqua di Giò, the bottle is draped in a cobalt blue gradient that darkens toward the base: a nod to the depths of the oceans. The glass is satin-finished across its entire surface, then polished in select areas to create plays of light reminiscent of underwater reflections.
Armani's minimalist signature
A silver logo, engraved directly into the glass, replaces the paper label to preserve the purity of the lines. The tone-on-tone metallic cap features a subtle circular fluting; it reflects the sheen of wet metal, reinforcing the marine-chic aesthetic.
Responsible materials & eco-design
Recycled glass & low-energy process
Each bottle contains 20% high-purity recycled cullet, integrated during low-temperature melting: this optimization reduces the carbon footprint by roughly 15% compared to standard clear glass. The thickness has been reduced by 1.2 mm without compromising impact resistance, for an empty weight of 185 g (100 ml size).
Single-material pump & aluminum cap
The new One-Metal pump uses exclusively anodized aluminum, eliminating mixed springs and hidden plastics; it unscrews easily for household recycling. The cap, also made of aluminum, screws on via a discreet internal thread and remains deformation-free after 300 openings.
Sizes, ergonomics & refill
Four harmonized sizes
The range spans from 30 ml to 200 ml, while a 150 ml refill allows two refills of the 50 ml or one of the 100 ml. All containers retain the same height-to-width ratio and a common neck: a single cap fits every size, limiting the number of separate parts.
Intuitive screw system
A double-start thread allows opening with a 90° turn, reducing disassembly time. The thread is cut directly into the glass, ensuring a seal without an additional plastic gasket.
Gift set & sustainable box
FSC-certified box & water-based inks
The primary box uses a 350 g/m² coated FSC-certified cardboard, offset-printed with low-VOC water-based inks. A midnight-blue soft-touch varnish echoes the bottle's satin texture, while wave-like embossing symbolizes the sea. No plastic film is added, favoring local recycling.
Blue Depths gift set edition
For the holidays, a rigid box dressed in mirrored blue paper contains the 100 ml, a travel mini-spray and a 75 ml shower gel. The inner cradle is made of recycled marine molded pulp, 100% compostable.
