On May 29, 2019, Yohan Cervi, writing for Auparfum, found the result exhilarating: Olivier Polge reinvents a fashionable genre. He describes a great white cloud, dotted with aldehydes, violet and neroli, through which fresh, spicy, powdery and musky facets pass in turn.
The base, more frankly woody, suggests to him cedar, a touch of honey and something almost animalic, in a cottony texture. He praises a highly developed abstraction, perfect transitions, a musk far from the smell of laundry as well as from animalic musks, and a fragrance worn with pleasure.

On August 26, 2019, Angela, of Now Smell This, saw in 1957 a lesson in musk treated as texture: a downy cloud barely touched with powdery iris and neroli, felt more than smelled. Pink pepper and bergamot fade after an hour, giving way to cedar.
For her, it is a true skin scent, the perfume equivalent of a nude lipstick. Anyone who wants, at this price, a fragrance with a strong voice may be disappointed; she compares it to a couture day suit, which draws attention to the wearer rather than the garment.
