Uomo Born in Roma Ruby is the new masculine edition of Valentino's Born in Roma line, launched in 2026 as an Eau de Toilette. It rests on three known notes: raspberry at the top, lavender at the heart, and a woody accord at the base. Raspberry is the new element; lavender, meanwhile, has returned from one Uomo edition to the next since 2023.

Ruby is, for now, summed up in three notes, one per tier. At the top, a raspberry worked into an accord; at the heart, lavender; at the base, a woody accord. No supporting raw material is named, and the nature of the woods is not specified.
Lavender, a common thread
The lavender heart places Ruby within a continuity. Since Intense in 2023, lavender, or lavandin, has occupied the heart of almost every Uomo edition: Green Stravaganza, Extradose, Rendez-Vous Ivory and Purple Melancholia all carry it in turn.
A red fruit at the top
Raspberry is the new element. The Uomo editions had already opened on a fruit before, pineapple in Yellow Dream in 2021, apple in Coral Fantasy in 2022. With Ruby, the top note shifts to a red fruit.
What remains outside
Three notes do not describe an entire fragrance. The perfumer remains unknown to date, as does the breakdown of the raspberry and wood accords; the detail of the composition will complete this portrait once the house publishes it.
