The Japanese inspiration of the house Annayake

Annayake is a house whose origins date back more than 90 years. It was born in 1928 through the talent of Monsieur Suzuki who, deeply in love with his wife, decided to create a body care product for her. However, this product did not remain confidential for long and its renown soon spread across the world. Since that day, the house has strived to develop ever more ingenious and innovative processes while ensuring it never forgets its past and respects Japanese tradition at all costs. It is therefore in the purest respect of this authenticity that the fragrance Tomo was created. Moreover, its connection to Asian culture is immediately apparent from its name. Tomo is a very common first name in Japan. It is given to men and embodies wisdom and friendship. And it is precisely this tranquility that is found in the fragrance Tomo. As effective as a yoga session, it is a true call to calm and meditation. It invites one to refocus on oneself and on what matters most, all while being woven with warmth and enchantment. As such, it invites closeness and intimacy.

The airy breath of Tomo

Behind its apparent clarity, Tomo nonetheless appears as a fragrance close to the skin, aiming to plunge the wearer into a nocturnal world of electric sensuality. Its character opens with a very aromatic and fresh blend. Citrus notes such as lime and bergamot give it a deep vitality. Rosemary and lavender, for their part, anchor its masculinity in a swirl of Mediterranean flavors. Clary sage continues along this path in the heart, accompanied by coriander seeds. A blond tobacco scent then breathes a voluptuous cloud over the whole, while rosewood grounds the masculinity of Tomo. Finally, everything ends with even more character. The sillage of Tomo brings together musk, patchouli, teak wood, tonka bean, cistus and benzoin. It is precisely here that the nocturnal effect of this fragrance more specifically resides.
