Annayaké

Annayaké is as famous for its tailor-made skincare for a demanding clientele as it is for its original fragrances made with raw materials drawn from traditional Japanese culture. With clean designs and delicate scents of tea, maze, bamboo or lotus blended with beautiful modern and harmonious notes, the first Annayaké fragrances captivated lovers of Asia at the dawn of the new millennium...
In 1928, Mister Suzuki created a skincare cream intended solely for his wife. The Annayaké concept, “Because no skin is like another,” was born from the hands of this celebrated founder, who inspired the creation of a house whose prestige is recognized both for the quality of its cosmetic products and for its philosophy in keeping with traditional Japanese skincare.
Over the decades, the house of Annayaké built a significant aura in the field of cosmetic skincare, using natural raw materials of choice while demonstrating boldness and innovation, such as with the Skinner, which made it possible to offer treatments adapted to each skin type.
It was in 2000 that Annayaké, buoyed by its success in cosmetology, launched into the creation of fragrances with concepts closely tied to the house's historical philosophy.
In order to offer Annayaké customers fragrances in total alignment with the house's core values, Annayaké was, in 2000, behind two fragrant creations: “Pour Femme” and “Pour Homme”.
The delicate green floral “Pour Femme” by Annayaké won over a clientele in search of original and natural fragrances by creating a scent built around notes of wildflowers and blue lotus, notes that could not leave indifferent the noses of those who love Japanese tradition. As for “Pour Homme” by Annayaké, like its feminine counterpart, it played with typically Asian notes of bamboo and lotus to offer unprecedented masculine notes, sweet with apple or, more surprising still, with cotton candy or hazelnut.
The world of Annayaké perfumery gradually grew richer with new fragrances, always remaining close to ancestral Japanese tradition while still being just as surprising, in order to create original Asian fragrances suited to everyone's taste. The bottles kept the same glass bamboo shape and were dressed according to the type of fragrance offered.
In 2003, Annayaké followed up its first two successes with the floral and aldehydic cherry scent “Hanami,” then a second feminine fragrance, this time oriental, “Matsuri,” in 2006. Annayaké did not forget men, however, offering them a new bottle, a modern tribute to calligraphy, bearing the beautiful oriental floral “Miyabi Homme” in 2009.
In 2015, as if to renew the cycle of creation, the house of Annayaké once again offered fragrances in a duo, with “Shiroï” for women and “Kuroï” for men, an ode to serenity and the perfect balance of black and white, of yin and yang, of course! It would seem, then, that the house of Annayaké has not finished surprising us with its elegant and subtle fragrant creations infused with the flavor of Asian dreams.
