Ombré Leather Reserve

Ombré Leather Reserve is the Reserve version of Ombré Leather, launched by Tom Ford in 2026. Sonia Constant opens the line’s leather with a silver juniper captured by headspace, cypress and a black pepper accord, alongside violet leaf, pinyon wood, sandalwood and a deep black leather accord, in a matte black bottle with platinum details.

Tom Ford describes a journey that begins with silver juniper: fresh at first, it reveals its woody depth as sunlight touches the tree, over hints of myrrh. Cypress essence brings an aromatic, pine-like freshness.

Juniper, black leather and sandalwood

The notes are arranged here as follows: juniper, cypress and black pepper at the top; violet leaf in the heart; sandalwood at the base. The black pepper is an accord with woody undertones, and violet leaf absolute adds a bright, green floral touch.

The deep black leather accord amplifies the leather of Ombré Leather; the house builds it from cypriol, cistus and pine tar. Pinyon wood, also captured by headspace, joins sandalwood drawn from the root and Texas cedarwood with smoky facets.

Among its key notes, the house also lists a white moss accord.

What the label declares

The list opens with alcohol, fragrance and water, ahead of patchouli oil, which is absent from the announced notes, linalool, pinene and acetyl cedrene, a woody note derived from cedar. Sandalwood album oil and santalol, its main molecule, rank high on it.

It also lists vanillin, trimethylcyclopentenyl methylisopentenol, with sandalwood facets, Virginia cedar oil, tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, woody and ambery, and methyl octynoate, with the green scent of violet leaf.

The formula further declares lemon and bergamot peel oils, camphor, coumarin and eugenol, with a clove scent. No colorant appears in it.
