Erzsébet

Erzsébet is a fragrance by Spiritica, put online on 31 October 2026 in the house’s shop as a new chapter of its Crime Collection. Presented as a unisex creation, it is signed by perfumers Miguel Matos and Daniele Muratori Caputo and sells for 222 euros.

It takes its name from Erzsébet Báthory, a seventeenth-century Hungarian countess who, according to legend, bathed in the blood of young women to preserve her beauty. The house sets the fragrance within the walls of Čachtice Castle, in Slovakia, and recalls that the tale of the blood baths spread long after the countess’s death, somewhere between historical fact, superstition and imagination.

An aldehydic, metallic white floral

Spiritica classes it among the white florals, with aldehydic, carnal and metallic facets. Tuberose is its pivot: an opulent, narcotic white flower that the composition pulls towards unease, between the cold cleanliness of the aldehydes, a blood accord with ferrous glints and a vintage soap accord that evokes aristocratic beauty rituals.

The Crime Collection

Spiritica’s Crime Collection draws on catharsis as Aristotle described it: turning the darkest episodes of human history into emotion and reflection through art. Erzsébet makes it a matter of smell, where blood meets tuberose and violence meets the softness of soap.
