Pour un Homme by Caron, an iconic fragrance. The founder of the Caron house was named Ernest Daltroff. He was born in 1867 in Haute-Loire. In 1902, together with his brother Raoul, he acquired a haberdashery-perfumery, the Émilia house.

Pour Un Homme comes in a clear rectangular glass bottle with slightly rounded shoulders, set on a thick base and topped with a tall silver cap with softened corners. The green juice shows through the glass.
A vertical white label runs down the front and bears the name of the fragrance and that of the house. Caron makes it an emblem in its own right, with a pared-down silhouette that has crossed the eras alongside the fragrance it holds.
The eau de toilette comes in 50, 75, 125 and 200 milliliter sprays and in 125, 500 and 750 milliliter splash bottles. Caron offers to engrave the bottle with initials, a first name or a message, or to adorn it with one of its five Parures Merveilleuses, enameled discs gilded with fine gold.
In 2026, Caron dressed this bottle for the 150th anniversary of Gitana, a line of racing yachts born in 1876: in the Pour Un Homme Gitana edition, a pattern of dots designed by Florian and Michaël Quistrebert for the Gitana 18 trimaran covers it all around, with a label made of reused carbon.
