Nuxe has bottled the smell of its Huile Prodigieuse, the dry oil that made its fortune: Prodigieux le parfum, composed in 2012 by Serge Majoullier, who was already responsible for the scent of the oil. Citrus and orange blossom open, a bouquet of rose, gardenia and magnolia takes over, coconut milk and vanilla close on a hot sand accord.
Denyse Beaulieu recognizes a faithful transposition, and faults it for exactly what it copies: the smell of a suntan lotion, static and a little greasy.

Beaulieu finds that the transposition works: the tiaré-frangipani-coconut accord of the oil is there, barely more soapy through the effect of the magnolia. She notes that the fragrance reproduces even the greasy sensation of the model, which she finds curious. Her judgment hardens on the register: she files Prodigieux with the static tropicals, on the side of a low-protection tanning lotion, and cites Roberto Cavalli pour Femme as a neighbor. She does not doubt the commercial success for all that, the faithful of the oil being bound to pounce on the bottle.
