Paloma Picasso's second bottle, Minotaure draws directly on Greek mythology, dear to Paloma Picasso's heart. It should be noted that the Minotaur, whose real name was Asterion, was a monster with the head of a bull. According to the Greeks, the Minotaur was born of a union between Pasiphae and a white bull sent by Poseidon. From birth, the Minotaur was locked away by King Minos in a labyrinth in Crete, so that no one could ever encounter him. Paloma Picasso chose Minotaure as the name for her perfume because she wanted an ultra-masculine fragrance, with an element of magic. Minotaure is a strong man, ultra virile, and his strength shows through a personality that is, to say the least, magical. The legendary notes of Minotaure

Minotaure is considered a fougère oriental fragrance. Composed by Michel Almairac, this second opus from the house aims to be extremely mythological. Minotaure opens with aldehydic notes, paired with the very green notes of galbanum, as well as the aromatic accents of tarragon. The heart of Minotaure is very floral and surprisingly feminine with the presence of rose, geranium, lily of the valley, and geranium. The base is warm, oriental, and sensual thanks to the presence of vanilla, sandalwood, tonka bean, and amber. The bottle appears as an ultra imposing silhouette. It seems to have been carved from a block of granite. Its touch, however, is soft and sensual. The name of the perfume is engraved in relief on it.
