Loverdose

Loverdose, or the story of an extreme addiction. Diesel is a ready-to-wear brand best known for its worn-look jeans. Founded by Renzo Rosso in 1978, the brand aims to be casual, provocative and rebellious. If Diesel is a genuine alternative to luxury, it is above all a state of mind, a way of being and appearing.

Released in 2011, Loverdose is described as a torrid and stunning love potion. It is true that Diesel is considered a rebellious brand, slightly borderline, that particularly likes to draw attention. In reality, Diesel wanted to convey a message here, one that says that a woman is free to love whomever she wants, and above all without taboo. Loverdose is a composition that is at once floral, sensual and gourmand. Loverdose tells the story of an absolutely torrid, carnal and above all ultra captivating passion.

Two great names for a great perfume

Loverdose was created by two renowned perfumers, namely Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc. Olivier Cresp is the child (and grandson) of rose and jasmine growers in Grasse. It can thus be said that perfumery is, for Olivier Cresp, a family legacy, a passion passed down through generations. Olivier Cresp is considered inventive and highly creative. He is responsible for numerous perfumes such as Angel by Thierry Mugler, the pioneering gourmand fragrance, but also Noa by Cacharel, Nina by Nina Ricci and Kenzo d'Amour by Kenzo. As for Honorine Blanc, she was born in Lebanon but grew up in France. She had the opportunity to attend the prestigious perfumery school, ISIPCA in Versailles. Although the majority of her creations are feminine, Honorine Blanc also enjoys creating sensual and addictive compositions. She is also responsible for major fragrances such as Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent, Obsessed by Calvin Klein and Amor Amor Tentation by Cacharel.

Loverdose and its ultra seductive notes

Loverdose is the olfactory embodiment of passion in its purest form, an extraordinary gourmand character that endures endlessly. Loverdose was designed like a soft drug, acting slowly but surely. Loverdose opens on dynamic, ultra fresh notes of lemon and mandarin. The heart is both gourmand and floral. There one discovers licorice liqueur, sweet and thoroughly tempting. This blends harmoniously with the aromatic note of star anise as well as anise. A touch of jasmine lends its feminine, romantic aspect to the composition. The scent lingers and intoxicates the senses all the way to the base. Its notes are sensual, but also gourmand thanks to the presence of vanilla. This combines its exoticism with sandalwood and cedar, leaving a long sillage of sensuality trailing behind. Loverdose is an essence for seductive women, with a touch of insolence.

Loverdose, or Diesel's unexpected frequency. The Diesel house offers here a sample of its nonconformist spirit. Loverdose is a loving, passionate, sensual and ultra addictive essence. Beware of anyone who gets close to it.
