The saga of Chloé fragrances began in 2008 with Chloé composed by Michel Almairac. Or almost, since the lovely Love Chloé, released in 2010, would be the exception.
Indeed, with Love Chloé the two Givaudan perfumers, Louise Turner and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto, wanted to offer a composition closer to the exclusive creations of the Eaux de Fleurs than to the highly symbolic, now bestselling Chloé. Both passionate about floral scents, they managed to create for Love Chloé a precious heart of luxurious flowers used in impressionistic touches, tinted with powdery-woody accords, ultimately fairly far removed from the star fragrances composed by Michel Almairac.
Yet Love Chloé does not forget where it comes from and what it is. The lovely rose, though blended into a beautiful bouquet of white flowers, is not forgotten and remains part, like all Chloé perfumes, of those sophisticated and elegant accords whose secret the house seems to hold.

Love Chloé of course offers us the finest floral essences but, as mentioned earlier, Love Chloé sets itself apart from the Chloé perfumes in which damask rose reigns supreme. The floral heart is thus dressed in the favorite scents of Louise Turner, the English perfumer, who did not hesitate to pair the ever-symbolic rose with scents of wisteria, lilac and hyacinth. The powerful heliotropin also comes to brighten the orange blossom essence of the top notes, so dear to Nathalie Gracia-Cetto.
Yet these flowers, drawn like a figurative bouquet, soon blend into the powdery and precious accord of iris absolute.
