Where to buy

A single breath transports one to a dreamlike place, and the mere sight of their bottle is enough to carry one away into a delightful, imaginary universe. Today, Nina Ricci has decided to expand its Belles de Nina range with a brand new heroine. Joining Nina and Luna, Bella made her appearance in 2018 and is already presented as the sexiest essence of this trio.

The Belles de Nina fragrance collection

The Belles de Nina collection was born in 2006. At the time, no one imagined it would become a whole range of fragrances. It consisted solely of one heroine named Nina. Intended for young women, this juice was the embodiment of innocence, tenderness and carefreeness. Fresh and gourmand, it carried people into a dreamlike world and released a touch of sweetness with every breath. It then took 10 years for one of its successors to appear. This came about with Luna, a fragrance created in 2016 embodying the evolution of the Nina Ricci woman. While preserving her elder's full measure of femininity, Luna proved more rebellious and untamed. She became the symbol of a woman in the midst of emancipation. Today, Nina Ricci pushes this creative direction even further. Bella reaches the height of audacity, and this feminine essence is by far the sexiest of them all. Bella is a rebel who is not afraid of anything!

Bella, Nina Ricci's new sexy apple

Bella by Nina Ricci offers its vision of the modern princess through a romantic, floral, fruity and tangy sillage. Bella's freshness first stirs to life through green mandarin and rhubarb. This composition then takes on femininity and romance through a bouquet of rose and freesia. Bella ultimately rests on an exotic, sensuous base of vanilla. Finally, this fragrance closes with the airier clarity of white musk. In terms of design, Bella comes in three different sizes: 30, 50 and 80 ml. Its place within the great Belles de Nina family is immediately apparent. Indeed, just like its predecessors, the Bella fragrance is presented in a glass apple. Its base is tinted green while being topped with a few gold leaves that form the fruit's stem. The whole effect is truly enchanting, and a small ladybug even rests on one of its leaves. With such a visual, Bella seems, more than ever, to have stepped straight out of a fairy tale!

The advertising

Since 2006, the house of Nina Ricci has been associated with its most iconic fragrance: Nina, the embodiment of a modern-day princess, as though stepped straight out of a fairy tale. It was later joined by Luna in 2016 and, more recently, by the latest fragrance, Bella. To bring these three fragrances together, Nina Ricci decided to offer a brand new advertisement. Bringing together three faces of the campaign, this extraordinary campaign proves to be one of the most magical of the moment. Let's take a closer look at what it involves…

The enchanted world of Nina Ricci

As always, the house of Nina Ricci carries the audience, through this new advertising campaign, into a dreamlike world. The brand's new television spot was directed by the communications agency Rosbeef, in collaboration with Ana Strumpf, a Brazilian illustrator, also an interior architect and product designer, who has been working with Nina Ricci since 2017 on the graphic design of the entire Belles de Nina advertising campaign. This time, the story unfolds to a well-known French song: Comic Strip by Serge Gainsbourg, written in 1967 and performed as a duet with Brigitte Bardot. The scene takes place at the foot of a white tree. Nina and Luna relax in the company of their magical animals, a doe and an owl, while Bella emerges from a lake. Dressed in a long green gown and accompanied by a wolf, she does not hesitate to climb the magic tree to seize the forbidden fruit: a green apple that is none other than the bottle of Nina Ricci's new fragrance, Bella. This new princess is, without question, the boldest of them all!

#PrincessLife, the highly current digital campaign for Nina, Luna and Bella

In parallel, a digital campaign was also launched by Nina Ricci under the hashtag #PrincessLife. This one playfully reworks the classic attributes of princesses. The carriage transforms into a rideshare car. The glass slippers become sneakers. The magic mirror disappears in favor of selfies… Ideas that are almost as unsettling as they are inspiring, with plenty of appeal for an ever younger, trendier and more current audience.

Who are Nina Ricci's three new faces of the campaign?

It should also be noted that Nina Ricci has completely transformed its cast of faces of the campaign. Gone are the brunette Monika Jagaciak and the blonde Frida Gustavsson of before, who played the roles of Luna and Nina respectively. Now, the romantic Nina is embodied by the German Estella Boersma, a romantic model par excellence. Luna is portrayed on screen by the bewitching and mysterious Sonia Ben Ammar, a French-Tunisian model, musician and actress. The new Bella, meanwhile, is embodied by the entrancing Barbara Palvin, a Hungarian already highly celebrated in the world of haute couture. All three possess very different personalities but share a bewitching gaze that already promises to leave no one indifferent.
