La Chasse aux Papillons appeared in 1999. Anne Flipo composed it for L'Artisan Parfumeur. The house files a childhood memory in it: games under a summer sky, meadows in flower, butterflies. Three declared materials — jasmine, linden blossom, orange blossom — over an opening of bergamot, lemon blossom and pink pepper.
Victoria Frolova hears a floral mist there dominated by orange blossom, softened by a milky tuberose, and holds it to be luminous and serene.

Favourable. She describes a mist of bright floral notes, held up by a tuberose sweetness with coconut accents, and recalls that the perfume is then the house's best seller.
The citrus notes set the stage for a floral adagio dominated by orange blossom. She says she has worn it on and off for years without tiring of it, and places it beside Renoir: full of light and serenity.
