Lalique le Parfum, for sophisticated women. René Lalique is known for the creation of avant-garde jewelry. This jewelry appealed mainly to bourgeois women of the nineteenth century. His meeting with René Coty led him toward the creation of perfume bottles.

Released in 2005, Lalique Le Parfum is the fragrance of chic and sophisticated women. According to the Lalique house, Lalique Le Parfum embodies absolute femininity, the quintessence of femininity. Luxurious, Lalique Le Parfum has a strong personality. The Lalique woman will therefore be elegant, sumptuous and dazzling. Here, the house of Lalique unveiled a modern oriental, reinvented with a clean writing and the most subtle design. Original, the composition signed by Dominique Ropion is meant as a second skin. A wonderful asset of seduction.

Lalique Le Parfum, Dominique Ropion dazzles us again and again…

In order to create the most luxurious composition, the Lalique house chose as perfumer Dominique Ropion. His meeting with Jacques Polge and Jean-Louis Sieuziac when he was only 15 years old would take Dominique Ropion to the very edge of his dreams. He trained at Roure, studied physics and chemistry and joined IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) in 2001. From then on, he kept stringing together one success after another. Dominique Ropion is said to be a very great creator combined with an obsessive perfectionist. Both bold and highly rigorous, Dominique Ropion is a discreet perfumer. Because he takes the time to study every single raw material, Dominique Ropion is a true encyclopedia. We owe to Dominique Ropion magnificent perfumes, among them Live Irresistible by Givenchy, La Vie est Belle by Lancôme and La Nuit de l'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent.

Lalique Le Parfum, an unforgettable originality

Lalique Le Parfum opens on the freshness of bergamot, combined with pink pepper and laurel, which brings here its aromatic tonality. Bergamot is a citrus fruit of ancient origin. Coming from the bergamot tree, bergamot is mainly grown in Italy, in the province of Reggio Calabria. Spherical in shape like an orange, bergamot nonetheless has the color of a lemon. It should be noted that bergamot is not eaten. It is used for its essential oil and its olfactory properties. The city of Nancy has made it its emblem since the nineteenth century and has been making bergamot candies ever since. In perfumery, bergamot gives off fruity, sweet, tangy and very fresh tonalities. Then, the heart of Lalique Le Parfum evolves toward a magnificent femininity, combining jasmine and heliotrope. Native to Peru, heliotrope takes its name from the Greek meaning turned toward the sun. Also called Fleur des Dames, heliotrope has been cultivated in Europe for more than a century. In perfumery, the technique used is that of headspace, as it preserves the flower's delicate scent. Heliotrope gives off tonalities that are at once very floral, sweet and vanilla-like. Finally, the base of Lalique Le Parfum is ultra sensual thanks to the presence of styrax, vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean. The bottle is inspired by a motif called Le Masque de Femme created by Lalique in 1935. The heavy glass cube is ultra elegant. A red passementerie cord encircling the cabochon offers a final touch of femininity.
