Kenzo Homme Eau de Parfum is the rereading Quentin Bisch gave in 2022 of the marine fragrance the house launched in 1991. Three accords only: an iodized marine note in the opening, a sun-warmed leather, a dark patchouli to close. The black glass bottle with blue reflections imitates a bamboo stem cut with a katana.
Persolaise sees in it a masculine that refuses the specification sheet of the genre, without claiming a revolution.

Persolaise opens on a note of weariness: reading the big brands, one would think a law obliged every masculine to string together an opening of fake citrus, coarse woods and a fake patchouli in the drydown. He holds the Kenzo Homme eau de parfum to be a measured exception — Quentin Bisch lowers his voice and presents his leather and his patchouli with restraint. He warns against getting carried away: the fragrance remains a masculine of its time, but it makes the effort to move toward less quarrelsome territory.
