Jicky

Jicky is the fragrance Aimé Guerlain created in 1889, which the house presents as the first modern perfume, one of the first to use vanillin and coumarin. This amber fougère sets the freshness of a lemony lavender and an accord of bergamot, lavender and rosemary against the warmth of woods and vanilla, and blurs the line between feminine and masculine.

The heart-stoppered bottle designed by Raymond Guerlain in 1912, with swirls inspired by Art Nouveau.

Jicky now comes in the emblematic bottle designed by Raymond Guerlain in 1912, the one used for the Les Légendaires collection. Its graceful swirls bear the mark of Art Nouveau.

Its stopper in the shape of a hollowed heart, which the house calls avant-garde, was considered a technical feat at the time; Guerlain sees in it a reflection of the quiet romanticism of Jicky.
