Today, the Les Parisiennes collection allows it to reissue certain juices missed by the house's most loyal customers. The new Imagine by Guerlain is a modern reinterpretation of the previous London, part of the “Une ville, Un parfum” assortment.

Imagine, a nod to John Lennon's anthem

Imagine by Guerlain echoes the previous fragrance London and draws its inspiration from John Lennon's world-famous anthem. Naturally, this new composition carries within it all the free spirit and effervescence of the British capital. With it, everything is a matter of opposition and contradiction. Imagine by Guerlain is all at once: the past and the present, refinement and eccentricity, elegance and exuberance. Imagine reissues one of the most celebrated fragrances belonging to Guerlain's heritage. It thus appears as a treasure of perfumery, always highly refined yet not devoid of creativity. True to Guerlain's calling, it is aimed at connoisseurs of exceptional essence. Between pop and crown, it is a kind of free electron of perfumery that never stops surprising us with its fantasy.

Imagine by Guerlain, a free and offbeat essence in a prestige bottle

Like many perfumes signed by Guerlain, Imagine comes in a reinterpretation of the famous Flacon aux Abeilles, initially designed for Empress Eugénie and the Eau de Cologne Impériale. This time, its clear glass bottle reveals a purple juice, set off by a particularly refined golden label. A green ribbon is also affixed at its top, itself crowned with a luminous, finely chiseled crystal sphere. To echo Guerlain's heritage, numerous bees are sculpted in relief on this bottle. It is, on its own, a true feat of goldsmithing.

Its juice, meanwhile, lives up to all expectations. It plays on eccentricity and displays several sparkling, punk, and liberated facets. Imagine by Guerlain opens with a tangy burst of rhubarb, paired with the freshness of bergamot and grapefruit. Then, its heart gains in femininity and nobility through the presence of rose essence and absolute. Violet, meanwhile, echoes the traditional little London sweets. Finally, Imagine by Guerlain closes with a more assertive and extravagant base of white cedar, vetiver, and black tea. With Imagine, Thierry Wasser, perfumer of the house of Guerlain, envisioned a bold fragrance, anything but conventional, echoing the British capital, built around typically English raw materials.
