Vintage Vanilla, Horace’s fifth fragrance, came out in November 2025. Composed by Caroline Dumur, this spicy, leathery vanilla, which Marc Terlet compares to a weathered leather jacket, links nutmeg, cumin and pink pepper to saffron and violet, over a base of vanilla, leather and labdanum.
Jerome Henry of Dapper & Groomed called it in 2026 the brand’s most accomplished fragrance, a spicy, leathery vanilla without easy sweetness.
What critics say
For Jerome Henry (Dapper & Groomed, March 11, 2026), Vintage Vanilla is Horace’s most accomplished fragrance: a framed, almost disciplined vanilla that smells neither of dessert nor of easy sweetness, warmed by the spicy opening and by leather. He finds it warm, elegant and masculine, and readily keeps it for autumn and winter.
