Þe Wode Hath Teth

Þe Wode Hath Teth is a unisex fragrance by Heretic Parfum, composed in 2026 by Douglas Little for the Werwulf collection, tied to Robert Eggers’s film. Its title says “the woods have teeth”; this mineral woody scent brings together a mineral spark, frozen air and pine in the top, cypress, black pepper, osmanthus and carrot seed in the heart, and vetiver, musk and patchouli in the base.

A 30 ml black bottle with its title in white medieval lettering, beneath a faceted black cap adorned with a seal.

Þe Wode Hath Teth comes in a 30 ml bottle of glossy, opaque black glass with rounded corners and shoulders sloping toward a cylindrical neck. The title is set in medieval-inspired lettering, between the house name and the words “eau de macabre.”

The broad, faceted black cap carries a white circular seal on top. The matte black box, scattered with small crosses, bears metallic lettering and a framed illustration; on the packaging, the instruction “Breke þe seal” invites the wearer to break the seal.
