Initially specializing in the creation of clothing and haute couture, Narciso Rodriguez eventually decided to turn also to perfumery, starting in 2003. It was at that time that his perfume For Her was released, as a tribute to the femininity that had inspired him since his beginnings. Visually, For Her Musc Noir has a bottle very close to its predecessors. It adopts a rectangular shape, as well as a double glass wall. At its heart, For Her Musc Noir reveals a pale pink hue, a token of femininity and softness. Yet its opaque black cap appears more mysterious and shadowy. The whole is delivered in a cardboard box that also plays on these two colors. The bottle of For Her Musc Noir exists in three different sizes, 30, 50 and 100 ml. Evocative of old Chinese snuff bottles, it expresses the full duality of woman, both being and appearing, the inside and the outside.

Like all Narciso Rodriguez perfumes, For Her Musc Noir is built around a musky and captivating breath. Indeed, Narciso Rodriguez has always made musk his ingredient of choice. Here, it is first accompanied by a note of juicy plum. Gourmand and sweet, it is quickly relayed by a more floral heart, composed of rose and heliotrope. A fascinating flower, heliotrope evolves according to the position of the sun and reveals a soft scent, close to vanilla and slightly almondy. Little by little, the scenery darkens and it is in its base that For Her Musc Noir takes on a texture of sensual notes. For this, it combines velvety leather with suede. The magic works instantly and plunges us into a deep and intense cloud, which keeps gaining in power.

A professional catalog references the 2021 shoot with Inez and Vinoodh behind the camera, Christiaan on hair, Dick Page on makeup and Ashley Brokaw on casting; a database entry lists the 2021 advertising short film with Lola Nicon.

The Spanish perfume press reports on the campaign with Lola Nicon, images by Inez & Vinoodh, built on a play of shadows and light.

The duo had already signed the image of Carmen Kass for the first for her in 2003. Lola Nicon remains the face of the line for the following flanker, MUSC NOIR ROSE, again filmed by Inez & Vinoodh.
