The woody yet nuanced composition of Gentleman Society de Givenchy
In creating Gentleman Society, Givenchy has clearly announced its intentions: wood, and more wood! Yet, do not think this is a perfume lacking depth and subtlety, quite the contrary… In fact, four different vetiver essences were used in its heart notes. The woody aspect is clearly dominant, all the more so as it is amplified by cedar in its base notes. That said, other ingredients are also present. Sage lends this fragrance a more aromatic aspect. Guatemalan cardamom, meanwhile, spices up this recipe while preserving more freshness. Narcissus, grown in France, also contributes to this effect. Finally, vanilla and sandalwood accentuate the roundness of Gentleman Society.
