Bold Blend

Penhaligon's reopens its Potions & Remedies collection in 2026, which had seen no new addition since 2023: Bold Blend appears there as an Eau de Parfum, unisex, in the apothecary-inspired bottle that gives the line its character, an evocation of the forgotten formulas of founder William Penhaligon. The composition is signed by Paul Guerlain. The house presents the fragrance as a stimulant, with each note meant to awaken and assert the wearer. The launch date is March 1, 2026.

The pyramid meets with unanimous agreement, which is rare enough to be worth noting: three independent sources give it in the same order, and the monitoring source that was used to spot the subject does not deviate from it by a single note. Mint and black pepper in the top notes, violet leaf and clary sage in the heart, palo santo, cypress and cypriol in the base. No source adds or removes anything: seven notes, no discrepancy to report.
