Launched in 2023, Fleur de Lait draws on mango pomelo sago, an Asian dessert combining mango, pomelo, sago pearls and coconut milk. Daniela Andrier declares only three notes, mango, osmanthus and coconut milk, for a milky fruity fragrance that Miu Miu brought back into the spotlight three years after its release.
Three notes, one per tier
The house declares a mango top note, an osmanthus heart note and a coconut milk base note. Wikiparfum gives the same list. Neither one adds a fourth: the fragrance presents itself on three materials, and sticks to them.
Osmanthus serves as the pivot here. The flower carries facets of apricot and leather, which allows it to hold both fruit and flower in the same gesture. It is what makes the perfume's name credible.
Milk rather than the nut
The base is declared as coconut milk, not coconut. The distinction is not cosmetic: the nut pulls toward monoi and the beach, the milk toward lactone, creaminess and warmth.
It is this facet that the market caught up with. Le Journal du Luxe places Fleur de Lait within the wave of milky, creamy compositions, those comfort fragrances that social media turned into a dominant trend in 2026.
What the label declares
The regulatory list names two materials that the declared trio leaves unmentioned: bergamot oil and Virginia cedarwood oil. The first brightens the top, the second holds the base beneath the coconut milk.
It also declares vanillin and coumarin, two markers of sweetness, hydroxycitronellal, which is a lily of the valley material, and rose ketones, whose fruity facet appears in no published list.
Mango, however, is not there. The list names only the allergens required for declaration, and the accord that renders the fruit carries none of them. The fruit that opens the fragrance is the only thing absent from its label.
