Chiffon Sorbet is an eau de toilette for women by Escada, born in 1993 as the first of the house’s limited summer editions, and reissued since. Escada calls it gourmand and floral: a fruity bouquet of blackcurrant, raspberry, mango and red apple opens onto rose, jasmine, violet and fig, over a base of musks, vanilla and woods.
Escada places Chiffon Sorbet among fruity florals. The house highlights three materials: a blackcurrant bud absolute at the top, a rose essence in the heart and an organic jasmine it places in the base.
Summer fruits and a floral bouquet
Blackcurrant blends there with raspberry, mango and red apple. The heart brings together fig, orchid, jasmine, violet and rose; the base combines musks, ambergris, Virginia cedar, vanilla and sandalwood.
The notes are arranged here as follows: raspberry, mango, apple and blackcurrant at the top; fig, violet, orchid, jasmine and rose in the heart; musk, vanilla, cedar, ambergris and sandalwood in the base.
What the label declares
Denatured alcohol, water and fragrance open a short list, which beyond them declares only regulated odorous molecules: limonene, alpha-isomethyl ionone, hexyl cinnamal, citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, linalool, citral and benzyl benzoate. No UV filter or colorant appears.
