Tom Ford launched Eau de Soleil Blanc in 2018: an eau de toilette fresher and more citrus-driven than Soleil Blanc, the solar floral amber of 2016. Bitter orange, bergamot and petitgrain open onto orange blossom, tuberose and ylang-ylang, before a base of coconut, amber and vanilla. Born in the Private Blend collection, it now belongs to the Signature line.
Ree finds it superb and more citrusy than Soleil Blanc; Miguel Matos, in 2026, finds it pretty and easy to wear, but too simple and too faint for the house.

On the Really Ree blog, Ree recounts waiting impatiently for Eau de Soleil Blanc, out of love for Soleil Blanc, and judges the result superb: a more citrusy summer, with a zesty, invigorating opening that softens within half an hour into ambery warmth and light vanilla.
Tuberose, Ree’s favorite note, remains noticeable, and the drydown recalls the original, which Ree adores. The bottle, frosted white with gold accents and shaped like a chess piece like the whole Private Blend collection, strikes Ree as gorgeous.

On July 2, 2026, Miguel Matos, a Fragrantica columnist, found the current edition pretty but short on depth, complexity and emotion. He smells run-of-the-mill white florals and a well-judged coconut that evokes monoi, without detecting the advertised pistachio.
To him, the eau de toilette performs like an eau de cologne and resembles a simplified version of Yves Rocher’s monoi, which he prefers. He still wears it in summer, as a grown-up sunscreen scent fit for the office, and asks Tom Ford to make it richer, not stronger.
