Eau de Soleil Blanc

The scent of white sun according to Tom Ford Tom Ford is an atypical designer who does not hesitate to move away from trends to follow his own instinct. This is precisely how he conceived the Private Blend fragrance collection.

Since Black Orchid in 2006, Tom Ford has never ceased to amaze with rare fragrances, their composition crafted by the greatest perfumers, above all so as never to offer ordinary or already-seen fragrances. The Private Blend collection is, as it were, the quintessence of this refined style, and each bottle unveils unprecedented notes, deep accords that are savored rather than simply worn. Eau de Soleil Blanc is one of them…

The sun and the sea in a single fragrant setting, Tom Ford’s Eau de Soleil Blanc

Tom Ford is not a man to be guided by marketing and trends. Of course, he is fully aware of his outstanding talents as a designer and, like every fashion house, aspires above all to please; nevertheless, he has never wanted to fall into what might be commonplace. The fragrances he brings to life are the privileged witnesses to this…

First Black Orchid, a jewel of sensuality and Orient, then Tom Ford for Men and finally the magnificent bottles of the Private Blend collection only further affirm, loud and clear, their creator’s taste for rarity, originality and the luxury of raw materials and unprecedented compositions. The fragrances of the Private Blend collection are meant, let us recall, to be built with very luxurious ingredients and the guarantee of not being on every skin. Tom Ford for L’Express.

Thus the latest addition to Private Blend, Eau de Soleil Blanc, carries within it not only the precious and exotic raw materials of its predecessor Soleil Blanc, composed in 2016 by Nathalie Gracia Cetto, but also the fresh, iodic accords of a sea meeting the sun for the first time… A delight!

Eau de Soleil Blanc and its contrasts between intense freshness, divine flowers and amber-vanilla accords

Going even further than Soleil Blanc, Eau de Soleil Blanc offers not only the heady intoxication of flowers, fruits and amber notes from a distant, private beach, but also the freshness of salt water and citrus caressing the skin as it burns under a blazing sun. Eau de Soleil Blanc carries one far away, like a journey to a paradisiacal island that only ends when the bottle closes…

Thus for Eau de Soleil Blanc, the original composition of Soleil Blanc has been reworked to welcome, alongside mandarin and bergamot, other notes of petitgrain and orange. A note of bitter almond also makes its appearance, turning milky and soft while remaining refreshing. At the heart, the floral splendors of Nathalie Gracia-Cetto’s Soleil Blanc remain, with notes of orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose and ylang-ylang. But this time these opulent flowers are punctuated by a blazing cardamom where calone sows freshness and an aquatic feel… These striking contrasts dissolve into the intense warmth of the depths, where amber woods and sun-kissed notes form nothing but a halo of vanilla-tinged warmth wrapped in white musks…

Secluded private beaches where summer lasts all year and where every day blends into the next: this is the inspiration behind Soleil Blanc, a floral, addictive sun-drenched amber, alive with seductive sophistication and refreshing decadence. Tom Ford for Eau de Soleil Blanc.
