Eleven raw materials carry the eau de toilette, built around an accord of wood, cooked fruit and sweet spice.

Cardamom, peach, bergamot

Cardamom, peach and bergamot open. Frolova describes an entrance of magnolia and watery lily whose transparency already lets a warm note of cinnamon through.

The fruit and the spice

Cinnamon, rose, plum and heliotrope hold the heart. Frolova reads an abstract dessert in it: the effect makes the mouth water without anything smelling of candy.

Vosnaki names the molecule responsible for the peach fuzz, gamma-undecalactone, and recalls that the effect has been available since Mitsouko in 1917. She draws from it a tactile sensation, that of fruit skin rather than an aroma.

The woody base

Vanilla, sandalwood, cumin and cedar close. Frolova describes a drydown where cedar and sandalwood settle onto a balsamic vanilla and a moss.

Cedar is the material that ties the fragrance to Féminité du Bois, and it is also the one wearers most often identify, sometimes in place of sandalwood.

What the label declares

The list the house publishes for the Dioriginals version has thirty-eight entries. The spicy axis is clear: clove and cinnamon bark oils, with eugenol and cinnamal, which carry their scent, alongside vanillin.

Bergamot, patchouli and rose complete the natural materials named. The synthetic molecules include a macrocyclic musk, hexadecanolactone, and a sandalwood note, trimethylcyclopentenyl methylisopentenol. A UV filter and three colorants, red, yellow and purple, close the list.
