Diorella appeared in 1972, composed by Edmond Roudnitska for Dior. The house today sells an eau de toilette that it sums up in three materials, Sicilian lemon, a honeysuckle accord and Bourbon vetiver, over a base of oakmoss and patchouli. Francis Kurkdjian restores it on 1 October 2026 with the twelve other Dioriginals.
Stéphan sees in it the archetype of the chic of the house of Dior, of a timeless elegance, a famous name turned confidential.

He describes a chypre that leans floral: a frankly citrus opening where soft bergamot is sharpened by Sicilian lemon, a centre of honeysuckle, cyclamen and rose, and a vetiver he holds to be deep and elegant.
He finds it less androgynous than Diorling or Diorama, and easy enough to wear to please every age without losing anything of its identity.
His verdict is warm. He sees in it the archetype of the chic of the house as he imagines it, a timeless elegance, and says he is always glad to put his nose back into it.
