Without ever distorting it, she now gives it an unprecedented vividness. The original ingredients of Déclaration by Cartier are taken up with brilliance, while being enriched with a share of innovative greenery. It is a little as if Mathilde Laurent were making them bloom at the hour of a new spring. Thus, the citrus leaves seem greener and more tender than ever. The spices are more pronounced and explosive than before. The cumin overdose of its initial version is now enriched with a fresh, biting cardamom. Cedar comes to perfect the whole while filling with sap. The result is a juicy and sparkling cocktail, resting on a more earthy base structure. Undeniably, Déclaration by Cartier moves away from the clichés of masculine perfumery.
