Chance Eau de Toilette is the first version of Chance, the floral Jacques Polge composed for Chanel in 2002. The house describes it as a floral fragrance intertwining pink pepper, jasmine and amber patchouli, by turns floral, spicy, sensual or gourmand. It introduced the round bottle that breaks with the house’s square bottles.
Chanel’s first round bottle, in glass, breaks with the house’s square bottles; the eau de toilette is sold from 35 to 150 ml and as a purse spray.
Chance introduced a circular bottle in 2002, running counter to Chanel’s square bottles. The house presents it as a bottle with round lines; the line keeps it in all its versions, changing its color from one variation to the next.
The eau de toilette is sold in glass sprays of 35, 50, 100 and 150 ml. Chanel also offers the Twist and Spray, a refillable purse spray sold with three 20 ml refills.
