After the success in 2014 of the perfume Bonbon, the Dutch design duo Viktor Rolf decided to present, in 2016, the latest addition to their Bonbon collection.
After making us explode a bomb of flowers with Flowerbomb or making our mouths water with gourmand delight with Bonbon, Victor & Rolf persists and signs again with Bonbon Couture. Bonbon Couture, composed by the same perfumers as before, goes further into gourmand territory by offering a powerful elixir, this time adorned with fine floral elegance in order to appeal to a more mature audience.
An elegant gourmand fragrance worthy of a great chef named Bonbon Couture
The designers Victor & Rolf particularly love surprising us with haute couture creations that are both elegant and original, just as they do with perfumes that play with trends to make them shine brilliantly. From Flowerbomb onward, the Dutch duo displayed their offbeat and daring style while proposing an elegant perfumery.
For Bonbon, released in 2014, Victor & Rolf sought to surprise us even more with an overdose of sugars and fruits. Success was not long in coming, and the idea was quickly put forward to offer this magical Bonbon an even more sensual and more feminine version. The same perfumers as before, Cécile Matton and Serge Majoullier, worked once again as a duo to compose, with just as much pleasure, a Bonbon Couture that is more assertive than ever.
Bonbon Couture indeed aims to be the perfume that could be worn by all women, so its gourmand scents are enhanced by new caramel and blond tobacco accords, accentuated by unprecedented depths.

A powerful and sensual caramel perfume for a gourmet Bonbon Couture
Bonbon Couture was designed and intended for elegant and sensual women who love treats, but also surprises and above all touches of sophisticated and refined elegance. In order to perfect the style and the flawless, very couture finish of this precious Bonbon, the perfumers sought out the most sensual as well as the most gourmand raw materials.
We thus discover that a fine caramel note can prove to be just as sensual as it is gourmand and that, under the guidance of Cécile Matton and Serge Majoullier, a perfume can also be crafted like a great culinary dish! Indeed, the two creators state without hesitation that they worked on the beauty of their caramel note together with a chef in order to give it the most realistic scent possible.
We worked closely with the house's chef to experiment with all the textures of caramel. We opted for an intense caramel by adding real vanilla pod and reducing the fruity notes. Cécile Matton for Elle, on Bonbon Couture.
The work of the perfumers, as well as that of Victor & Rolf, on this Bonbon Couture was thus orchestrated with meticulous care and elaborated at least as thoroughly as a haute couture gown.
