Gold
Coach Gold Identity Card When gold meets the light of New York After Coach the Fragrance, Wild Rose and Love, the American house unveils Coach Gold, a feminine EDP launched in spring 2025. Conceived as a ray of sunlight striking a New York building façade, the juice blends the brilliance of pink pepper and juicy fruits with an irresistibly ambery recycled vanilla*, then softens the whole with a breath of floral almond. The result is a liquid-gold fragrance: luminous, warm, resolutely contemporary.

The creative idea
The brief called for a fragrance able to capture the precise instant when skyscrapers turn golden at sunset. The perfumer therefore built a chiaroscuro structure: a fruity-pepper flash on opening, a velvety vanilla-almond heart, a velvet amber base. The result is a signature that is both sparkling and enveloping, comparable to the reflection of a metallic Coach bag in the storefronts of Soho.

Who is it for?
Coach Gold targets 20 to 45 year-olds seeking a sophisticated gourmand: vanilla enough to reassure, spicy and ambery enough to surprise. On male skin, pink pepper and amber dominate, creating a woody-spicy halo. On female skin, milky vanilla and almond underline a soft sensuality. Ideal to accompany a camel trench coat in the morning, a black suit in the evening, or a sequined dress at a winter gala.
Bottle: the liquid-gold flask
Inspired by the house's vintage hip-flasks, the bottle adopts a champagne mirror lacquer. A brushed gold cap, engraved with the emblematic Coach turnlock, conceals an unscrewable pump that allows the bottle to be refilled in under 45 seconds. (The “Bottle” page will detail materials, PCR glass and percentage of recycled metal.)
Strategic stakes
• “Rich vanilla” trend: the market is seeing darker, spicier, more textured vanillas emerge; Coach responds with a version that blends fruity brilliance with ambery intensity.
• Tangible sustainability: up-cycled vanilla, low-carbon beet alcohol, refillable bottle.
• Golden visual universe: Soho golden hour campaign, TikTok “Gold Dust” filter, golden pop-up in department stores.

The advertising
Coach Gold – The advertising that gilds the New York skyline
“Shine Your Golden Hour”: a sunset bottled
To launch Coach Gold, the New York house imagines a world of reflections: Manhattan's low light becomes fragrance, the champagne hue of a glass skyscraper turns into ambery vanilla, the button-cap recalls the golden clasp of Coach bags. The claim “Shine Your Golden Hour” invites everyone to capture that moment when the city takes on rose-gold hues.
TV & digital film: 30 seconds of liquid gold
Storyline & direction
Directed by the duo We Are From LA, the spot opens on a sunbeam bouncing off a glass-and-bronze façade in Hudson Yards before reaching the mirror bottle set on a rooftop. Influencer and dancer Anok Yai picks up the bottle, sprays the golden mist: the city is covered in a champagne filter, taxis, billboards and skyscrapers sparkling as if plated in rose gold.
Synth-pop soundtrack
Set to the exclusive track “Golden Rush” by New York DJ Sango Gold, retro-house basslines, R&B claps and sampled saxophone blend at a tempo of 108 bpm, evoking a car ride at sunset along Ninth Avenue.
Formats & distribution
- 30″ master: AMC theaters and US/EU prime-time TV (March 2025).
- 15″ cut: YouTube pre-roll on “urban sunset” playlists.
- 6″ snack: TikTok / Reels with interactive “Gold Dust” filter (a shower of golden pixels).
- 8″ loop: duty-free screens (JFK, CDG, DXB): bottle rotating in an infinite mirror.
Print: the mirror flask towers over Fifth Avenue
Art direction
The poster shows the tilted hip-flask bottle, reflecting a pink-gold sky. A lenticular varnish shifts the color from light champagne to coppery gold as one moves past the visual.
OOH rollout
On digital bus shelters, a virtual sun descends and tints the scene with golden reflections. In Times Square and Piccadilly, a 3D screen makes the bottle burst out of the frame, then the liquid flows in a sparkling cascade.
Pop-up & immersive experiences
Golden Hour Loft: a champagne mirror pop-up in Soho, a “Vanilla Sky” mocktail bar, a VR booth turning the visitor's silhouette into an AR gold statue. Refill stations: satin-finished kiosks; a “Fill with Gold” button fills the bottle and displays the CO2 saved in real time.
First figures: a viral sunset
Two weeks after launch, the #GoldDust filter surpasses one million TikTok creations; the YouTube spot totals more than two million organic views. Early reviews praise a sophisticated and photogenic ambery vanilla.
A golden and responsible storytelling
By combining an AR filter, a recyclable pop-up and a message about up-cycled vanilla, Coach offers a glamorous campaign without greenwashing. Every touchpoint magnifies the golden light while recalling the glass and plastic savings tied to the refillable system—a feat for a mass-market launch.
