Voyage d’Hermès Parfum is the version Jean-Claude Ellena composed in 2011 and Hermès launched in March 2012, two years after the Eau de Toilette. Woodier and more ambery than the original, it pairs juniper berry and cardamom with tea, milky sandalwood and musks. Its black glass bottle sits in a silver stirrup designed by Philippe Mouquet.
A black glass bottle set in a silver stirrup adorned with the saddle nail, which Philippe Mouquet modeled on a pocket magnifying glass.
Philippe Mouquet, Hermès designer, created a nomadic object bottle for the Voyage line, designed to be carried along. The house says it was inspired by a pocket magnifying glass found by chance, and presents it as a travel companion, a messenger of movement.
For the Parfum version, the glass is black, set in a silver-colored stirrup and adorned with the house’s emblematic saddle nail. The bottle is refillable: 125 and 200 ml refills replenish the 35 and 100 ml sizes.
