The Dreamer

The Dreamer is a Versace perfume released in 1996. Its top note combines juniper and tarragon, both peppery, along with mugwort, while the heart blends iris and lily and the base brings together tobacco and amber.

Juniper, peppery and woody, and tarragon, bitter and peppery, occupy the top note with mugwort, bitter and camphoraceous: pepper links the first two, while bitterness draws tarragon and mugwort together.

Iris, powdery and buttery, sits alongside lily, a white and sweet flower, in the heart of the composition.

Tobacco, honeyed and almondy, accompanies amber, animalic and tobacco-like, in the base.
