This is how Flowerbomb was created, a burst of flowers, followed in 2012 by a masculine counterpart named Spicebomb, much more spicy. Spicebomb Infrared, a very contemporary inspiration
Undeniably, with the Spicebomb Infrared fragrance, the house Viktor & Rolf wanted to address today's men. Indeed, while some fragrances draw inspiration from ancestral craftsmanship, travels or distant lands, this one relies entirely on new technologies. As its name suggests, it owes its existence to infrared light. More specifically, this detects objects giving off heat. The hotter an element is, the more the red coloring displayed on screen intensifies. Now, it would seem that the Viktor & Rolf bottle is particularly incandescent. From the very sight of its name and its bottle, Spicebomb Infrared sets the scene. It addresses a torrid and seductive man. Do not try to ignore it, it is already a lost cause! Whoever wears this fragrance is rich with an inner flame and does not hesitate to burn life at both ends. If you are an epicurean, as determined as you are passionate or sensual, this fragrance is made for you!

In terms of bottle, Spicebomb Infrared reclaims the container of its predecessors. Thus, it offers no real surprise, except for its new color code, evolving from an incandescent red at its base to an opaque black at its top. Even if the Spicebomb Infrared bottle has a familiar look, it must be said that the magic still works. With almost 10 years of existence, this glass case has still not aged a day. To become intoxicated with its scent, one simply needs to prime its pin, a particularly original way to open it. This case is as sturdy as it is elegant. Behind its thick glass lies a whole host of refined details. Thus, its walls are sculpted into regular facets, like a diamond. The pin of this grenade, for its part, bears the seal of the Viktor & Rolf house.
The spicy but refined ingredients of Spicebomb Infrared
To raise the temperature, Viktor & Rolf relied on spices. However, the house did not turn to just any ingredient. To reinforce its refined and prestigious side, it incorporated into its recipe the most expensive spice in the world: saffron. To this are added cinnamon, sweeter and more subtle, and Habanero pepper, much bolder and spicier. Red fruits come to nuance the whole and give Spicebomb Infrared a more gourmand and tangy side. Finally, in full roundness, Spicebomb Infrared ends with a duo of tobacco and benzoin.
