While the 1990s brought the house of Jean-Louis Scherrer far more attention in financial and economic columns than in those devoted to fashion or perfumery, this did not prevent the great couturier from releasing one last fragrance, Nuits Indiennes, before being dismissed from his own house.

The bottle of Nuits Indiennes naturally draws on its illustrious predecessors, displaying a slender geometric glass tower that seems to reach for the stars with its emerald green cap inspired by Indian colors.

Nuits Indiennes was composed by the brilliant Nathalie Feisthauer, who, in a single bottle, made fruits, flowers and wild woods breathe together. The fragrance opens on top notes of bergamot, lemon, mandarin and peach. Then the floral heart offers itself to curious nostrils in delicate bouquets composed of the splendors of lilac, jasmine, lily of the valley and heliotrope. Finally, the fiery luminosity of Nuits Indiennes turns into an ultra-sensual darkness of civet, tonka bean and sandalwood, punctuated by a touch of benzoin-white musk, as if to carry us more gently through Indian nights.
