Cherry Stem

Cherry Stem arrived in September 2025 from Phlur, an eau de parfum signed by Clément Gavarry. It serves a black cherry and an orange brandy at the top, freesia, a sugared jasmine and a plum nectar at the center, ebony woods, a warm caramel and a soft leather accord at the base. The house places it among fruity woods.

Where to buy

Phlur adds Cherry Stem to its range in September 2025, as an eau de parfum. Chriselle Lim, who leads the brand’s creation, says she wanted it inspired by flirtation: legs crossing, a gaze lingering from one side of a bar to the other.

A cherry that is anything but innocent

Clément Gavarry says he sought a cherry more sensual and more mysterious than the usual ones, thinking of the gesture of tying a cherry stem with one’s tongue. He adds a wink of fruity nectar and the depth of soft leather and dark woods.

The house speaks of a cocktail of dark, lacquered fruits, served with a twist, and of a cherry that is anything but innocent. It places the perfume among its fruity woods, alongside Strawberry Letter.

The sizes

Cherry Stem is sold in a fifty-milliliter bottle and in a nine-and-a-half-milliliter travel spray.

What critics say

Kimberly Wilson, of Essence, finds a dark, tart cherry, neither candy nor medicine, that plum and jasmine set apart from the other cherries on the market.
