Le Labo

Shiu 25

Shiu 25 is an Eau de Parfum by Le Labo released in 2026, signed by Frank Voelkl and part of the City Exclusives collection. It is sold year-round in the labs of Beijing. The house centers the accord on camphor wood, with pink pepper, iris, and incense. Its name echoes an old pronunciation of the word “tree.” The olfactory family, target audience, and sizes remain unknown.

Where to buy

Shiu 25 was released in 2026 by Le Labo, as an Eau de Parfum composed by Frank Voelkl. It belongs to the City Exclusives collection, in which each fragrance is associated with a city: this one is reserved for Beijing, where the house’s labs sell it year-round.

The house presents it as the nineteenth fragrance in its series of cities. Outside Beijing, Shiu 25 is sold every year in August and September, in Le Labo boutiques worldwide and online: samples from August, full sizes in September.

Le Labo explains that “shiu” is an old pronunciation of the word “tree,” and describes shiu as the quieter expression of the ho tree. The house says it draws inspiration from spaces that hold a tranquil order, artisan workshops marked by time or peaceful courtyards, and speaks of a tribute to contemplative refuges.

What is still missing

Le Labo discloses neither the olfactory family of Shiu 25, nor its target audience, nor the sizes offered, nor the retail price. The notes are not broken down into top, heart, and base, and nothing is said about the bottle of the City Exclusives collection.
