Jérôme Epinette elevates patchouli as never before
Jérôme Epinette here decides to work with a material that is usually dark and woody in a completely new way. I wanted to recreate the sensation of a soft, enveloping cashmere, explains the perfumer. I wanted the fragrance to convey the idea of a tender, cottony white, with a literally irresistible clean scent. That is why I began by selecting a very particular fraction of patchouli, transparent and floral. The result is a surprising fragrance, at times refreshing, then gradually evolving toward a woodier, muskier base. Patchouli Blanc by Van Cleef & Arpels is a fragrance imbued with a pure, crystalline freshness.
Van Cleef & Arpels opts for a highly refined bottle
Like all the fragrances of the Collection Extraordinaire by Van Cleef & Arpels, Patchouli Blanc comes in an extremely refined bottle, synonymous with luxury and quality. Rectangular and vertical, it surprises with the heavy weight of its glass. This gives the bottle a solid, luxurious base. The whole is also decorated with an embossed label, on which the fragrance's name appears alongside the Van Cleef & Arpels perfumer's reference number. Presented in a single 75 ml format, Patchouli Blanc by Van Cleef & Arpels has a white, luminous bottle, also engraved with a floral print. Undeniably, its register is meant to be poetic!
