Valaya

A floral with fruity accents, Valaya brings together waxy orange blossom, green lily of the valley and velvety peach before a base of musks, vanilla and amber woods. Parfums de Marly launched it in 2023 as an Eau de Parfum, on a formula by Quentin Bisch that draws on modern woody molecules such as Akigalawood® and Ambroxan.

Citrus and peach

The opening pairs sparkling, sun-kissed and luminous mandarin with a bergamot described here through its fruit, its sugar and its freshness. Peach brings a sugary, velvety material, close to a nectar, which gives the start a gourmand roundness without losing the clarity of the citrus notes.

White bouquet

At the heart, orange blossom appears waxy, sugary and powdery, surrounded by white flowers that are at once powdery, fruity and sweet. Lily of the valley introduces a fresh greenness. Vetiver, woody, smoky and earthy, anchors this bouquet in a darker shade, unexpected amid the petals.

Musks, vanilla and amber woods

The base brings together a woody, animalic and warm musk, a sugary vanilla with spicy nuances, and smooth, creamy woods. Akigalawood®, a molecule derived from patchouli, adds a peppery woodiness. Ambrofix and Ambroxan extend the whole with their amber warmth, with a musky and animalic touch.

Flowers and fruits

The floral family rests on orange blossom, lily of the valley and white flowers, which form a white bouquet where powder and wax dominate. The fruity facet comes from peach, mandarin and bergamot, whose sugar and nectar echo the fruity side of the white flowers.
