Delina Exclusif

Damask rose, floral and rich, with spicy and honeyed accents, sets the tone of Delina Exclusif, a Parfum by Parfums de Marly composed by Quentin Bisch. Classified in the amber family with a floral facet, it opens on lychee, pear and citrus, before a base of vanilla, tonka bean and musk.

Fruity top

Lychee brings an exotic fruit with a rosy facet, while pear comes across as fruity, sweet and soft. Bergamot combines fruit, a sweet touch and freshness, and grapefruit extends the opening with a fresh, fruity citrus.

Heart of roses and wood

Incense offers camphoraceous, waxy and spicy accents. Two roses appear at this tier: a warm rose, honeyed and waxy, and a Damask rose with a rich, spicy and honeyed floral character. Vetiver adds wood, smoke and earth, while oud brings a woody, incense-like and animalic material.

Vanilla base

Vanilla is sweet, spicy and warm; musk is described here as woody, animalic and warm. Moss introduces greenness, earth and undergrowth. Tonka bean evokes toasted notes, almond and caramel, and a wood note brings softness and creaminess.

Amber and floral

The amber family designates warm, enveloping accords built on vanilla, balsamic or resinous materials: here vanilla, tonka bean, incense and musk carry it. The floral facet owes itself to the two roses of the heart tier, honeyed and spicy, relayed by the rosy accents of lychee.

What the label declares

The INCI list declares bergamot peel oil, a direct echo of the top note, as well as limonene, a lemony terpene found in citrus, along with linalyl acetate and linalool, present in bergamot essence. Alpha-isomethyl ionone recalls violet and iris, and pinene, with resinous accents, is part of the composition of olibanum.
