Eragon

Julien Sprecher, founder and creative director of Parfums de Marly, describes the genesis of Eragon as born of a desire for tension between light and depth, adding that he worked the patchouli, vanilla and cinnamon in a radiant, almost incandescent style, to give amber new energy. Sprecher also believes that Eragon can equally be worn by a woman, broadening the scope of this creation beyond its masculine classification.

The bottle cap is adorned with a solar swirl inspired by the Course du Soleil, a fresco at the Pavillon Royal de Marly, an iconographic reference that visually anchors the fragrance in its tribute to the Sun King. As with the entire Les Extraits collection, the bottle is made of crystalline glass engraved with a 3D faceted horse, and the reusable eco-designed box completes the object. The fragrance is part of the house's approach of evoking the golden age of eighteenth-century perfumery.
